Sell your clothes and keep the whole price
Listing is free, there is no selling fee, and the price you agree is the price that reaches your bank. We earn from a 30p + 3% buyer protection fee instead, paid by the buyer and itemised before they confirm.
Sell a coat for £40, receive £40.
No listing fee, no commission, no cut of the postage. There is no tier you have to reach and no subscription that changes it.
How it works
- Photograph it and the app writes the listing. Title, category and a first draft of the description come from the photos; you correct anything that is wrong.
- Add the measurements. Four numbers off a tape measure. It's the question buyers ask most — here is how to take them.
- It sells; you print the label. The buyer pays for delivery at checkout and the prepaid label comes from the app. Post it within five days. You choose the carriers you post with, so buyers see only the services you offer.
- You get paid. Stripe moves the money to your own UK bank account once the buyer confirms it arrived as described.
What makes a piece sell here
Measurements, mostly. "Will this fit me?" is the question that stops a second-hand sale, and a size label does not answer it. Buyers can save their own measurements once, so a listing with real numbers tells them directly how it will sit — and pieces without them simply cannot do that.
Declaring flaws works the same way. A marked cuff mentioned in the description and pinned to the photo showing it does not lose you the sale; the same mark discovered in the parcel does, and costs you a refund.
What we are not going to pretend
Rewear is new and small. A piece listed here is seen by far fewer people than one listed on Vinted, and a lower fee on something that does not sell is worth nothing. Listing is free precisely because we know that: it costs you an evening to try us alongside wherever you already sell, and nothing at all if it does not work out.
Our fees are not cheapest everywhere either. Where other marketplaces beat us, the comparison page says so, with sources and the prices at which they win.
Questions people ask
Is there a fee for listing?
No. Listing is free and stays listed until it sells or you remove it.
What is the buyer protection fee?
30p + 3% of the item price, paid by the buyer, shown in full before they pay. It funds refunds when an order goes wrong and it is what the marketplace runs on.
When do I get the money?
When the buyer confirms the piece arrived as described. Until then the payment is held rather than passed on, which is what lets us refund a buyer who was sent something else.
Do I need the app?
No. It works in a browser on any phone or computer, though the app is quicker for photographs.
